so kudos to xiaoxi for making me feel better... =pthank you xiaoxi!
today is thursday, promotion day.
no school.
so why am i writing this entry when i should have been at sentosa with my class?
my mother, that's why.
of all the days in my life, she chose to not let me go out today.
her reason: study for your chinese o level paper.
HAH!
who will study for it? and how do you study for a language? i asked.
that's why you didn't get A1 like you are supposed to. she replied.
ridiculous, coz she had allowed me to invite friends over for the night,
but not let me go out in the day!
sometimes, you don't understand parents.
they always complain that they don't understand us,
but they should make us understand first, shouldn't they?
but i don't care anyway, coz i'm not going to have kids when i grow up.
the reason is cause that they during gift of reading,
i realized that i don't have the compassion to play and be with kids,
i don't have the patience to teach them or anything.
today i'll introduce a new band, soon to hit the radiowaves, i hope.
band name's +44 (plus forty-four)
formed by the two former members of blink 1-8-2.
mark hoppus and travis barker. along with shane gallagher and craig fairbaugh.
their debut album, When Your Heart Stops Beating, is dued for release on the 14th November in the States.
the single When Your Heart Stops Beating is already hitting charts in the States.
the sound is standard alternative indie rock, sounding quite similar to blink 1-8-2's.
however, the content of the songs are quite different.
while blink 1-8-2 is more playful, plus 44 is more matured.
for loyal fans of blink 1-8-2 everywhere.
the band has also started on their tour, so we'll hope that we'll see great things from them.
