out of breath.
i am finally catching my breath.
the entire week was hellish as it was.
given that i haven't stopped at all.
it really seemed as if i had forgotten to breathe.
then i realized more importantly,
i had forgotten to care.
really really sorry to all you guys,
for not paying full attention to you.
it's just that there were really alot of things going on,
i was so darn it close to just breaking down.
last night was the first night i felt peaceful...
and that i turned in before 12.
thank goodness i'm giving the rjc taking sides thing up.
if not, i would most definitely not be here writing this entry.
monday was supposed to be good,
but i had to finish up the gpp draft 2.
then on tues it was rejected.
and we couldn't really come up with anything.
but anyhow, that day there was training after school,
it was a really fun training haha,
but i was kinda let-downed by my 4km run.
that stupid stitch (however you spell it) took over during the last few laps.
what a bummer that was.
come wednesday,
i had a totally stupid series of sneezing fits during sea history.
while we were doing paragraph drills.
it was by far the most tiring test i've ever had.
having to sneeze continuously while rushing through the paragraphs thoughtfully.
at least i provided some sort of entertainment,
besides the teacher next door's utterly amusing pre-test amusement.
then i had asean seminar after school.
it was quite an interesting seminar,
though i have to admit sheepishly that i did not give entire attention that day.
then it was back to gpp draft 3.
thursday, we finally achieved some breakthrough.
oh dear God, please let it be a good quality one.
i guess we were all pretty tired and frustrated by then,
with the lack of ideas and any improvements at all.
well, we pulled through it guys!
we shall keep pulling through...
gosh, it's darn tiring.
anyway, we had night training that day.
scratch that, that night.
at kovan.
i didn't know there were many female soccer players in singapore.
i thought it was a really tiny insignificant population,
but apparently there are clubs and organizations for female soccer.
it was a good training i guess.
i finally knew how to do the touches properly.
and i'm heck grateful to the lady who paired up with me.
those ladies are really good.
thanks shiyun! for bringing us there!
anyway, that night was really the most demanding one.
imagine this,
you trudge home after a long day of school,
after training for soccer at night.
from a faraway place,
and it took you almost an hour plus to get home.
putting down your heavy bag with a 1kg econs book (ok, this detail is slightly exaggerated, but it felt that heavy),
you rushed through showering and cleaning up,
and crashed in front of the stupid computer.
after repeated apologies to your groupmate,
you start drafting the interview questions.
only to find yourself dozing off after every few mins of typing.
then you realized you are typing weird things,
such as:
1) the southeast asian nationalists;
2) wilfred owen's grotesque imagery;
3) profit maximization and growth maximization;
4) the situation in myanmmar and darfur,
when your pw topic is on modernization of learning.
thanks chuan min!
for pulling it together.
anyway, i had to do research on the SMUN topics as well.
and i was trying so hard to look for information the entire week,
trying to muti-task.
i am a terrible multi-tasker.
i really dug myself a grave and dived right in with SMUN.
i thought it was a look-see conference,
where i would only be required to participate in discussions,
say, when i feel like it?
or when i actually have something inspiring or thought-provoking to say.
(HAHA! when have i ever said something like that in my entire 17 years,
i've practically smoked and crapped my way through life.)
well, i'm in trouble now.
i didn't know i was such a 井底之蛙 (ignorant fool),
until that day we went for the first day of training.
man...
and i thought i at least had some general knowledge to salvage my pathetic intelligence.
come friday,
the last day of the week.
the stupid weather was back to hot and dry.
why is it that everytime we go for caal,
the weather is so unforgiving?
then i rushed back to school for the mock conference.
and guess what,
all the research were not used...
home sweet home.
TGIF.
i managed to finish some homework last night too.
given that my weekend schedule is unforgiving AGAIN.
what a surprise (note sarcastic, mocking, sadornic, cynical tone).
SAT: -RJ Taking Sides (CANCELLED!)
-lunch with dad and mom
-play at Hwa Chong
SUN: -PW meeting at National Library (probably the entire day)
MON: -SMUN meeting with Zhi Xin
-play at DBS Arts Centre

wow! alright! great!
can't wait to see how unscrpulous my june holidays will turn out.
YAY!
i'll most definitely comment on it on my blog.
SO, Until Next Time.
peace.
then spidey crashed into my room so i had to stop and see if he's ok at 5/17/2008 08:19:00 AM
